Mixes for Dips, Spreads and Cheese Balls
Artichoke: Delicious cold with crackers or baked with French Bread. Spinach is a yummy addition to the cold version. Add crab to baked dip & sprinkle top with Parmesan before baking for an elegant version.
Bacon Praline: A truly Southern taste fusion. Almost makes potato chips get up and dance, and puts a permanent smile on the face of bacon lovers everywhere.
Bloody Mary: Tastes just like the drink! Great as a dip for chips or shrimp (or with the shrimp mixed in). Amazing stuffed in celery or sweet pepper wedges.
Bombay: A little touch of Northern India, fused with a South
American chili makes for an excellent seasoning change of pace. Serve with chips or crackers when made with mayo & sour cream/cream cheese, or for vegetarian friends made with mashed vegetables like beets, lentils or sweet potatoes. For a completely vegetarian & gluten free presentation, serve with veggie dippers like green beans or jicama.
Caliente Cheddar: Yellow cheddar, chipotle and spices. Try it cold or hot with pretzels or tortilla chips. Liven up mashed or baked potatoes too.
Chipotle Ranch: Smokey jalapeno spices up ranch perfectly. Substitute milk or buttermilk for the sour cream to make a great southwestern salad dressing. Fabulous with crab cakes!
Crabcake: Every bite tastes just like an individual crab cake. Scrumptious hot with crackers. Serve cold with chips or crackers. Refreshing stuffed in mushrooms & served cold or dreamy in baked stuffed mushrooms. Use mix to season yolk & mayo filling for deviled eggs, or prepared dip without the yolks as a really unique filling for the eggs.
Dilled Salmon: Dill with a hint of garlic and lemon combine to perfectly compliment salmon. You add the salmon (grilled, poached, baked or canned all work). Absolutely striking as a spread with smoked salmon (appetizer, brunch or breakfast). Substitute trout or white fish (preferably smoked) for a whole new experience.
Garlic Blue Cheese: A full flavored spread, great with wine and crackers and unbelievable mixed with chopped walnuts and stuffed in baby Portobello mushrooms, served warm or chilled.
Ginger Sesame: Delightful oriental flavors enhance even the freshest vegetables. Use in place of mayonnaise to reinvent tuna or chicken salad.
Jamaican Orange: Delightful evolution of jerk seasoning. With just a taste of orange, this is best as a rub for grilled or roasted meats, but makes a lovely and unusual dip, or dressing (for crab, shrimp or chicken salad). Combine with a can of cranberry sauce, chili sauce and cranberry juice or wine to serve heated as a killer glaze for meatballs.
Lemon Pesto: A truly fresh lemon flavor sets this blend apart. Scoop the dip up with veggies, rub the mix on chicken or fish, mix it with olive oil to dress pasta or dollop the prepared mix on veggies before microwaving for a true flavor burst.
Madras: A fusion of east Indian and northern California flavors, when people taste it, they smile and say, "This is just lovely!" Not spicy, but luscious. Beautiful with fresh veggies and amazing in the cooking liquid for orzo, couscous or rice pilaf.
Mango Curry: Flavor mates for years, this mix puts them together for the first time. A slightly sweet flavor that's not a bit hot, this makes a wonderful dip for chips, crackers or veggies, and is delightful as a dressing for chicken, shrimp or crab salad.
Maple Horseradish: A wonderful combination of sweet and hot. Great as a dip for crackers or chips. Wild as a spread on ham or turkey sandwiches, or with diced ham dippers.
Queen of Sheba: A fusion of an east African spice blend and a Mediterranean pepper, with an added dash of aromatics. Bold flavored, this is totally crowd stopping as a Ketchup for Adults seasoning or used to season hummus. It's also good with chips or fresh veggies, and can be served in a totally vegetarian form - one of our most versatile mixes!
Raspberry Horseradish: The sweet tang of raspberries combines beautifully with horseradish for an amazing taste. Use as a dip, spread or dipping sauce for grilled chicken or pork. Mix with cream cheese and spread on ham slices to update ham roll ups that really create a sensation.
Rio Grande: This blend fuses flavors from the Northeast and Southwest, showcasing the sweetness from maple and heat from chipotle chilis. It is delightful blended with mayo and sour cream, but designed for seasoning vegetables, and wonderful with mashed yams or sweet potatoes. Serve as a dip or spread with chips on flavored baked pita chips (or for a "no/low sodium" dish, bake your own sliced pita chips sprinkled with granulated garlic; takes only about 10 minutes). Great change up for yams on holidays.
Texas Wildfire Poppy Seed: Sweet like traditional poppy seed dressing, but with enough chipotle to wake up your taste buds. Mouthwatering as a rub for chicken or pork!
Tuscan: Designed for a traditional white bean dip, but not the usual flavor. Serve on toasted baguettes sprinkled with a few chopped tomatoes and/or Kalamata olives for a truly Mediterranean appetizer. Also, serve as a coulis under any white fish for a delightfully different taste combination and presentation.
Wasabi Ginger: Fantastic new Pacific Rim taste with a moderate zing. Pretzels, chips and crackers come alive with this dip. Use as a rub on chicken or fish, or dollop prepared dip on either before cooking for a truly tasty glaze.
Wasabi Lemon: A scrumptious combination of flavors. Great as a dip with chips or veggies. Incredible in place of tartar sauce with fish, or in place of mustard on
grilled sausages.
White Cheddar Horseradish: Rich, creamy white cheddar with just enough horseradish to give it bite with pretzels, crackers or chips. Add crumbled bacon for a dip or potato topping no man can resist.
Vegetarian

Salsa Mixes
Chipotle Salsa: This salsa mix offers the lovely taste of
roasted jalapenos. Nice with tomatoes, but for a sweet/hot/salty taste
rush, try with peaches (center in picture), apricots, pineapple or even cranberries. That
smokey chipotle taste is great with tortilla chips, but combined with
fruit, changes the everyday taste of chicken & fish to something
really extraordinary!
Habanero Salsa: Made with the 2nd hottest of all peppers,
for those who like it good and hot (but not so hot it takes your breath
away). Designed specially for use with mango, pineapple, watermelon (far right in picture) or
other fruits for a delicious salsa/relish to serve with pork, fish or
chicken. Think spicy watermelon salsa with tortilla chips on the deck
in summer, or along side a grilled salmon fillet for dinner for a truly
restaurant quality meal.
Roasted Garlic Salsa: Our most traditional and popular salsa
mix, this one offers a medium kick, and works best with tomatoes (far left in picture). Also
nice as a spicy topping for bruschetta, or spicy sauce for pasta.
Tortuga Bay Salsa: Almost like a trip to the Caribbean, this
salsa designed to take fruit to the next level. It combines the tastes of
traditional jerk seasoning with rum and vanilla flavors. Perfect with
pineapple to accompany grilled or roasted pork loin. Equally good with
tortilla chips and Pina Coladas for salty, sweet, hot, and cooling
flavor layers!
Tapenade Mixes
Artichoke: Made with our Artichoke dip mix, combined with
artichokes, a little wine or sweet vermouth, olive oil and either crumbled Gorgonzola or Feta cheese. Fantastic as a spread
on baguettes or a simple topping for pastas. Nothing like all the
bottled artichoke tapenades!
Venetian for Olive Tapenades: Subtle layers of flavor combine to set this home made olive tapenades leagues apart from the sameness found in bottled
tapenades. Use Kalamata olives or a mix, whatever suites your taste or
occasion. Keeps practically forever. Great for a spread on baguettes
or as a quick topping for pastas. Amazing added to heat & serve pizza.
Soups - Family Size
Caribbean Chicken: Slightly spicy, this broth-based soup is a crowd pleaser. Replace chicken with crab for a delightfully original dish.
Caribbean Black Bean & Ham: A smooth combination of sweet & hot, there is simply no comparison for this delicious soup developed from a popular restaurant recipe. Despite the similar heritage, there is no similarity between our two Caribbean inspired soups.
El Paso Chicken: Smokey jalapeno spices up this soup just perfectly. Even George Bush would eat his broccoli in this soup. Add tortilla chips for an exquisite tortilla soup.
Italian Mother-In-Law: Full flavored without actually being spicy. Add a can of diced tomatoes, sliced fresh mushrooms and a zucchini chopped into chunks. Then add cooked meat balls or crumbled Italian sausage (or whatever kind of beef, chicken or pork you have left over) and your favorite pasta (shells or penne work well, tortellini is fabulous!). Top with freshly grated Parmaesan cheese. Ready in about 15 minutes and will even please your mother-n-law.
Moroccan Chicken: A wonderful combination of North African seasonings combine in this flavorful stew. Serve over couscous in the Moroccan style. Add beef short ribs and lamb chops for a truly scrumptious dish when company comes.
Sweet & Spicy: A marvelous combination of sweet and spicy to enhance any vegetable that can be mashed (pumpkin, butternut squash, carrots). This soup is for those "who like it hot". Add chopped ham or smoked turkey to compete the unique flavor combination.
Velvety Curried Bisque: A mild curry flavor combines beautifully with pumpkin or any vegetable that can be mashed (cauliflower, carrots, sweet potatoes) in this creamy soup. Add grilled or sauteed portabella mushrooms for an elegant finish.
Single Serve Soups
White Cheddar, Broccoli & Bacon: The name says it all. A delicious broccoli cream soup, made extraordinary by the addition of cheese and bacon flavors.
Cream of Roasted Garlic, Thyme: Velvety cream soup with the subtle flavor of roasted garlic, perked up with thyme. Luscious as a sauce for casseroles or baked chicken.
Smokey Cheddar Corn Chowder: The flavor of smoked cheddar blends perfectly with plump corn in this rich, smooth soup.
Cream of Tomato Basil: The sweet flavor of basil and other spices make this soup good enough even for special occasions, but don't wait to treat yourself. Lovely with a splash of Vodka for a luscious pasta sauce.
Salad Dressings
Sweet Ginger: Absolutely stunning creamy dressing mixed with mayonnaise and buttermilk on field green salads with chicken, (salmon or smoked turkey too), red onion rings and dried or fresh fruit (apricots, cherries or whatever is in season). Substitute extra mayonnaise for buttermilk to make an incredible chicken/tuna/shrimp/crab salad filling for croissant sandwiches. Match the fruit in the salad/sandwich with preserves you mix into the dressing for the most versatile and delicious dishes ever.
Thai Dressing: This lovely vinaigrette works wonders on simple side salads or on a main dish salad with chicken, pork or steak. Also great as a marinade, dipping sauce or salsa base.
Spicy Mango: Don't stop with regular salads with this one. Fabulous creamy dressing for shrimp, crab or chicken salad served on bibb lettuce or atop melon slices. Make with just mayonnaise for completely reinvented sandwich fillings. Your family will love the fresh flavors and guests will ask for the recipe!
Mousse Mixes
Apple Rum: Absolutely irresistible! Serve it in a
martini glass topped with whipped cream or as a filling for crepes
sprinkled with powdered sugar. Add raisins for Apple Rum Raisin ice
cream or bread pudding that will match any found in a restaurant.
Bananas Foster: Bananas with the flavors of brown sugar,
cinnamon and rum. You'll feel like you're in New Orleans where this
taste originated. Delicious by itself in a wine glass topped with
whipped cream. Terrific as a topping for grilled pineapple. Makes
incredible ice cream and bread pudding!
Caramel Pecan: Smooth as silk and tastes just as
luscious. Top with whipped cream, or use the mousse as a topping for
ice cream, pound cake, angel food cake or pumpkin pie.
Chocolate Hazelnut: Made with
Ghiradelli chocolate and the rich flavor of hazelnuts, it's so smooth it
melts in your mouth. Great as the center filling for a Chocolate Mousse
cake or dessert crepes.
Irish Cream: Tastes just like its namesake, but
non-alcoholic. Luscious alone, or as a dip for chocolate mint cookies,
or piled into an Oreo crust for a "freezer" pie. (let pie pieces "rest" for 10-15 minutes, then drizzle cut pieces with chocolate syrup
for a restaurant quality presentation).
Mexican Mocha: Chocolate, dreamy smooth with the flavor of coffee liquor. Wonderful alone. Absolutely decadent with fresh strawberries!
Pumpkin: Utterly delectable, it takes pumpkin to a new level. Wonderful change from pumpkin pie for holiday dinners.
Raspberry Chocolate: For chocolate lovers, with just a
taste of raspberry. Also made with Ghiradelli chocolate. For sheer
elegance, serve in a champagne flute glass topped with whipped cream and
a piece of shaved chocolate and/or a single fresh raspberry. Completely
decadent as a filling for cream puffs
White Chocolate Amaretto: Made with Ghiradelli white
chocolate. Simply scrumptious. The mousse is elegance itself in a dish
garnished with strawberry slices or layered with blackberries in a
parfait. Make it as an ice cream or bread pudding with apricot and/or
sliced almonds blended in for a truly gourmet experience.
White Chocolate Banana: Banana enhanced with Ghiradelli
white chocolate - an exquisite pairing! Serve mousse in a wine glass
topped with whipped cream, or in a trifle layered with fruit and cake.
As ice cream, it's wonderful alone or served along with a slice of
banana cake.
Raspberry Lemon: Tastes so fresh. it makes you feel like it’s Spring. Light and silky
too. Serve in a martini glass, topped with whipped cream, a fresh
raspberry and sprig of mint for a truly delightful dessert.
Traditional Chocolate: In the original, famous chocolate mousses, sumptious dark chocolate was
combined with the subtle taste of orange liquor. That tradition carries
on here!
